The FHS Lacrosse seasons are about to come to an end with only weeks left of their season, but for some students it’ll be their last season. For the boys lacrosse teams there are only a few seniors, and this will be their last season playing for FHS. Some haven’t played as long as others, but will still miss the sport that they ended up loving and will miss playing lacrosse with their teammates.
“I’ve been playing lacrosse for a little over a year now. I started my junior year and instantly fell in love with it. It’s upsetting that I’m a senior because I just wish I had more time to play at FHS and it makes me regret the years I didn’t play,” senior Jackson Lane commented.
There are only a few seniors on the boys team. They are all sad to leave their teammates and this school behind. Even though Jackson Lane hasn’t played for very long, he has still fallen in love with sport with the support of his teammates and coaches, and with Max Inthavone being new to the team this year is also still loving the sport he didn’t think he would end up playing.
“I’ve been playing lacrosse for about 4 and a half months. It’s a surreal feeling when I look to next year thinking about how I’m going to be a junior and how much I’m going to miss it when it’s over,” sophomore Max Inthavone commented.
