The Findlay High School varsity baseball team finished 9-14 overall and 4-9 in the conference last season. They overcame in 2–7 at home and 7–6 away
The squad has tripled in size this year, so perhaps they will strive even harder to win.

Maintaining or keeping up with academics might be challenging when participating in sports. For a single child, practicing for two to three hours every night on top of homework is a lot and can become quite stressful and overwhelming.
“It can be difficult to balance academics with athletics, but it’s doable, in my opinion. I’m motivated to maintain my GPA even with the time commitment of practice,” sophomore Louis DiBerardino said.
In baseball, certain positions are ideal because they let you utilize your strongest skills. These distinct roles not only set you apart as a person, but also as a person with unique skill sets.
“I enjoy playing almost anywhere, since it allows me to improve in a variety of areas,” Sophomore Maysen Herrick said.
Creating targets is a crucial step in improving your athletic ability. Even better, keeping them up will give you daily proof that you can improve
“Everyone is hopeful that this year we play better as a team as well as better as individuals. The team’s size and skill have doubled after the addition of new freshmen,” freshman Jacob Gebhardt stated.
As of May 1st 2024 their record is 8-10. The Findlay Trojans want to play the sport they enjoy most and raise their winning rate this season.
