2021 Fall Trends

With colder weather brings more layers. Leaves are changing colors, and so are outfits. Every season brings new trends, and Fall is no exception.

“Personally I really like fall fashion. Neutral colors are easy to match and layers are comfy.” junior, Lily Korecky says.

InStyle features knee high boots as a major fall fashion trend, they can be paired nicely with shorts, skirts, or dresses. Influencers like Claudia Conway have posted on social media wearing styles like this.

“I think white knee or thigh high boots would look really good with a bodycon dress. It’s a little too much for me to wear, but I really like the look of this style.” Korecky says.

Flare pants have also been a major trend this year. Whether these be flare jeans to give a retro 70’s look, or flare yoga pants for a more casual look.

“I have seen a lot of people at school wear flare pants. I honestly really like it, especially taller people. It can make outfits go from a 0 to a 10 and it’s a super easy way to make it look like you put in effort into an outfit, even if you didn’t.” Lily Korecky says.

If you’re looking for more of a professional look this fall, Vogue, cites Pantsuits as a 2021 fall trend. Matching pant suit sets can run you a pretty penny but they are undeniably in style this fall.

“If I was going to an interview or DECA, or any other professional event, I would love a pantsuit set. Some people really kill the look.” Korecky stated.

Leather Jackets have also been in the spotlight this fall. Even models like Kendall Jenner have recently posted with a sleek black leather jacket.

“I love leather jackets. Honestly you could wear one with anything and your outfit will look so much better, but they can be pricey. I might buy one myself though, I could wear it with anything.” Lily Korecky says.

So next time you’re in the mood to spice up your outfit or make it a little trendier, try a pair of flare pants, knee high boots, or even a leather jacket. If you’re looking for something a little more professional, go for a pantsuit.

“Any of these styles could definitely make for a better outfit and I’d recommend [the styles].” Korecky says.
