On December 20, 2024, a third add-on to Sonic the Hedgehog film was released to theaters in America. It is an animation, action, comedy, fantasy, and adventure film all in one and is rated PG.
In the film Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles continue with their adventures. The crew confronts a new enemy, Shadow. Shadow has powers unlike anything that the crew has been held against. With the fact of the crew not having to deal with anything like this before they have to get help from an unlikely alliance in protecting the world from Shadow.
“From what I had seen, I liked the fact they decided to continue with putting Jim Carey in there. He is like my favorite character, and it would not have been anything without him in it,” senior Lanora Belcher said.
Jeff Fowler, the director, has returned along with Jim Carey as Doctor Eggman and as well as the father of Doctor Eggman, Colleen O’ Shaughnessey as Tails, Idris Elba as Knuckles, and with the new character Shadow plays Keaneu Reeves.
“ I also liked how Jim Carey was not just one character but two! It brings out his character not just as an actor but as himself,” senior Lanora Belcher continued.
According to Rotten Tomatoes “Popcornmeter,” the new verified audience score meter, has scored a 95 percent. According to IMDb, Internet Movie database, the audience gives the move a rate of 7 out of 10. In according to google users, they give the film a 96 percent.
