Recently trending on red carpet events are glamBOTS. The GlamBOT is a high speed camera attached to a robot arm that captures a slow motion high quality video. Capturing your video from the GlamBOT is very easy, you just pose and the glamBOT does the rest of the work.

“I love GlamBOT. It is a very good way to take high quality pictures, and my favorite celebrity GlamBOT was Arianna Grandes,” sophomore Serenity Savage said.

The GlamBOT was invented by Cole Walliser, who is a Canadian filmmaker. Cole has directed for Miley Cyrus, Pink, And Katy Perry.

“I have loved the GlamBOT videos. They are very different from just regular videos, and they are such good quality,” sophomore Annabelle Barger said.

The camera used for the GlamBOT is the Phantom 4k 990S, as well as using the RED Raptor. To create the GlamBOT high speed videos, a colossus cinema robot arm is used to create the sweeping motion.

“I really loved the GlamBOT. There are a lot of unique features that regular videos do not have. The videos are also very entertaining to watch, and my favorite GlamBOT was Ariana Grande’s at the 2020 Grammys,” sophomore Bria Frankart commented.

Some fan favorites of these celebrities GlamBOTS are Joey King’s at the People’s Choice Awards in 2019, Taylor Swift’s with Lana Del Rey at the Grammys in 2024, Arianna Grande’s at the Oscars in 2024, and Sydney Sweeney’s at the People’s Choice Awards in 2021.

Overall, GlamBOTS are growing to be highly popular and are almost always at celebrities’ red carpet events. Celebrities are quickly figuring out how to pose and to work with these new GlamBOT cameras.
