This year, hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar headlined many different festivals in 2023. He will be performing at 5 different major music festivals all over North America from June through October. Many know Kendrick Lamar from his award winning album “DAMN.”

“I’m so excited for Kendrick Lamar’s headlining, I’ve always loved Kendrick’s music and I would absolutely love seeing it live,” sophomore Annabelle Barger says.

Many seem to love Kendrick’s music, and would love to see him live at his music festivals. Kendrick’s festival dates included June 15-18, August 3-6, August 4-6, August 11-13, And October 6-8 and October 13-15.

“I can’t wait for Kendrick Lamar’s music festival headlining this year because I really like Kendrick Lamar’s music, and he really deserves this opportunity for his music,” sophomore Maggie Bramel says.

Kendrick Lamar has won many awards and accomplishments in his career and these music festivals are also a major accomplishment. Some of his major awards include a Grammy for Best Rap Album, Pulitzer Prize for music, and Grammy award for Best Rap Song.

“I’m not really excited for the festival because it’s going to be very expensive, and I’m not going to be able to go, even though I do love Kendrick’s music,” sophomore Beck Garmong says.

Although the festivals might be hard to get tickets for, Kendrick’s festivals are a great opportunity for him, and should be a fun time for all Kendrick Lamar fans.
