Scooter Braun Is an American entrepreneur, who is a record executive of Big Machine records who is known to work for top artists such as, Taylor Swift, Demi Lavato, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and more.

Over the past couple of years Braun has been taking a hit as these top artists have been dropping him and Big Machine Records due to a variety of reasons.

“I have a growing hatred for Braun as I learned more about what he did to Taylor and her music career. But I also thank him, as his lack of morals gave Taylor the vision for “Taylors version” and her vault tracks,” Said Alum Baylee Shoemaker

Taylor Swift who was just named the number one most streamed female artist in apple music history. With such an insane career, and with her insane popularity in 2019 the feud began.

Swift wanted to own her masters to her music, which many artists dream of doing. She reported after years of
“incessant manipulative bullying” from his other clients and his jump to purchase her masters from underneath her. This was her “worst case scenario” she stated on tumblr.

The drama went back and forth between them for a while before she gave up and decided to re-record her old songs and label them as “Taylor’s Version”

These re-recording have given her fans the ability to relive the excitement of hearing her old albums for the first time again. Along with re-recording her albums she is releasing “vault tracks” which are original songs that the record label decided didn’t make the cut for the original.

Many of the “swifties” have a hatred towards Scooter and Big Machine records. But Taylor is not the only artist who has dropped Scooter.

“I fully believe that Braun got himself into a situation that ruins his chances of ever being big again. He is making more artists that he has signed with want to walk away,” said Sophomore Emma Tate.

In August, Demi Lavato announced that she had stopped working with Braun along with other artists like Calrey Rae Jepsen known for her hit “Call me Maybe” and BabyJake.

As well as Bieber who is on his way out of working with Braun with only four years left in his contract.
He has been slammed on social media throughout the years for stealing Taylor’s masters. But no one has announced exactly why the others are leaving.
