Beatles remastered

“When listening to the new Beatles song ¨Now and then¨ I first loved the song, and I thought it was very calming. The way that they were able to take John’s voice out and be able to mix it with everything, and still be able to have George, Ringo, and Paul in it was very nice. The tribute that they gave to John and George was also very kindful. The words in the song were very good, very kindful and good choice words. I thought that overall that it was a good tribute to the Beatles and their final song, to close the chapter of the Beatles,” Senior Adam Reddish said.

Now and then

“Now and Then” was released on November second and has been labeled by some as “The final Beatles song”. The Beatles was a rock band that gained immense popularity in the sixties and is still popular today. They are thought by many to have changed popular music throughout the band’s 12 album career. “Now and Then” was originally a piano solo recorded by John Lennon in 1979, about a year before his death. Until recently, the technology to separate the sound of the piano from John’s voice did not exist.

“I like the song, and I think it’s cool how they used AI to separate Lennon’s vocals from background noise,” sophomore Lincoln Williams stated.

The finished song includes elements from all of the band’s members, including the diseased lead guitarist of The Beatles George Harrison and elements from the original track recorded by John Lennon. The band broke up in 1970, and now 50 years later they have released a single.

“It’s not my favorite, but it was a great Beatles send off and tribute to Lennon,” Williams continued.

Over 20,000 days after the formation of The Beatles, they have finally said goodbye to their fans.

I thought that overall that it was a good tribute to the Beatles and their final song, to close the chapter of the Beatles,” Senior Adam Reddish said.
