Findlay High School updated their Wednesday morning expectations. Beginning September 6, 2023, the students will be expected to meet in one of four places where they will be the most successful.

Each of the select options have different expectations

The cafeteria is only to be used by students eating breakfast. They are to clean up after themselves and head into the place best suits them.

The main gym’s expectation is that students are seated in the bleachers talking in low voices. Devices such as cellphones, chromebooks, headphones are allowed as long as they are used respectfully. Students must remain at the gym until they are dismissed.

The auditorium is for students who are wanting a silent space to do their work. Headphones, cell phones, and chromebooks are permitted but only for silent use.

FHS freshmen have an additional option for their Wednesday mornings. In room seven, academic assistance will be available, as well as the option to go meet with a teacher for additional help or questions.

The goal for this transition is to keep students ready for the day without them having the opportunity to argue and become off task, as well as to keep a safe environment for the students and staff on Wednesday mornings.
