Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour
It is official, Taylor Swift is hitting the road again! Swift announced the tour on her Twitter November 1, saying, “I’m enchanted to announce my next tour, ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’.” Her first leg of the tour will be in stadiums around the US. international dates are yet to be announced.
Swift’s tour will take fans through her past and present eras. Accompanying her on tour is Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, Girl in Red, Muna, HAIM, Gracie Abrams, Gayle, and Owen. While some of the artists have been in the game for some time, she also features some newer and lesser known artists.
The last time Swift was on tour was for her album “Reputation” in 2018, making this her first tour announcement in 4 years and first tour in 5. The tour is set to start in March of 2023 and end in August.
The tour is brought to fans by banking company Capital One, she featured in an ad for the company wearing some of her most iconic looks from each era. This was the way their partnership was announced. Fans have the opportunity to become a cardholder in order to be eligible for presale on November 15, but supply is limited.
Fans have shown immense interest and excitement for the tour all over social media. Since the 2020 lockdown, Swift has gained thousands of new fans which could possibly make this her most successful tour yet. A main concern for fans is not being able to get tickets, due to them being sold out or prices being jacked up due to resellers.
To sign up for presale visit taylorswift.com/events and scroll til you see the tour poster. Click on the page and you will then see a list of all her tour dates with a “sign up” box next to them. Once the correct show is found, type in the first 6 digits of your Capital One card to be signed up for presale.
For a better chance of getting tickets at a more affordable price it would be recommended to sign up for presale.
