The FHS Bowling Club had their first open-bowl on October 8, 2022.

The FHS Bowling Club is starting up this winter, as they had their first meeting on Wednesday on September 28, 2022.

“I think it is needed,” possible bowler Keegan Klotz said. “A new sport added to the high school is good because it lets people who are not athletic inclined in a sport like football, or basketball.”

The Bowling Club is a new addition to Findlay High School and people are thrilled to have a new athletics club at the school.

“The bowling club should be fun, because bowling is a sport where you don’t have to worry about being fit or in shape and you can still play easily,” interested player John Paul explained.

The group starts out as a club this year, and will turn into an official team next year if it’s a successful season.

The team is going to start during the winter, and tryouts will be before Christmas break. FHS students and staff are excited to see where this group will go and who will show up to play! Contact Mr. Weihrauch for more information.
