Celebrity pregnancies have been considered taboo since the birth of Hollywood, yet Rihanna has managed to shock the world and surmount nothing but positively with the announcement of her first pregnancy. Announced via a glamorous maternity shoot, Rihanna debuted her baby bump with elegance and beauty.

“It’s always something really exciting to see a celebrity you admire having a baby, it just shows how human they are,” says sophomore Adie Wilt.

Rihanna’s maternity shoot features her and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, posing with a snowy New York in the background. Her maternity pictures made Instagram history, quickly accumulating likes, shares, and comments and people raved over the musical icon’s new look.

“Even while she’s pregnant, she still managed to look absolutely perfect. She really is a personification of what she advocates,” says Adie Wilt. 

Donning a pink Chanel coat and golden and jeweled chain harness to compliment her growing baby bump. Her simplistic yet naturally stunning look encapsulates all that she represents through her music and her brand, Fenty Beauty.

The gender and delivery date of the child are still unknown, but fans of the singer and many others are keeping up with the star’s maternity via paparazzi images.

Unfortunately for her fans, her pregnancy may call for a delay in a recent projects. Her last album was released in 2016, and while she has teased an upcoming release she has never followed through. Despite this, she maintains her success through her multiple brands.
