Love your lips

Lipstick or lip gloss? Many girls have varied opinions on this topic. To find out what will work best for you, consider these guidelines.

Lip Gloss

If you want a product to wear that isn’t too noticeable, lip gloss is your best choice. While lip gloss is more sheer and discrete, it can also be very sticky. You know what that means… your hair will easily get stuck to your lips. Although this is a very annoying problem, lip gloss will finish off a cute outfit any day.

If you’re going for a sheer lip look, try Mentha Lip Tint in Magenta Mint, available from Bath and Body Works ($7.50). This particular gloss is clear, but this brand comes in other colors.

My favorite dark lip gloss is Nars’ Sixties Fan, available from Sephora ($26.00). It’s a dark pomegranate color that is very long-lasting.

Lipstick If you’re looking for lip wear that has a wide array of colors to choose from, lipstick is for you. Lipstick comes in fun colors, like orange and purple, or sophisticated colors, like nude or brown. No matter what color, lipstick will come off on any cup, fork, or spoon. Make sure you’re careful when eating, but you can always reapply! Wet n Wild’s Balm Stain comes in many colors and is gentle on your lips.

One of the brighter choices is Red-Dy or Not, which is a cute but bold red. A more subtle option is their balm stain called Rico Mauve. It is a light pink and goes with any dressy casual outfit. Both of these
options are available at any grocery store ($2.99 at Walgreens).

My all-time favorite lipstick is Elegant in Brown from Sephora’s
Color Lip Last collection, available at Sephora ($14.00). This is a darker color which is good for fall.
